About the Original Shutter Paintings

The paintings are inspired from photographs Sissi takes. Sissi creates her original paintings with premium artist materials. The artist also paints the frame and shutters.

Each shutter painting is purposely designed to have a "distressed look". The one-of-a-kind framing is handcrafted, and minor imperfections are intended. Your shutter painting brings the nostalgic feeling of an old, comfortable beach house into your home.

About the Giclee Reproductions

A giclee Fine Art print is an equal blend of artistic input and high tech computer printing. The goal is to reproduce the artist's original vision as close as possible, by combining the artist's input, the best knowledge of the printmaking tradition, and the highest quality materials and tools available.

Each giclee print is hand-embellished, using watercolors or oils, by Sissi. The hand-embellishments make each artwork special and one-of-a-kind. The print is hand-signed and numbered. The finished giclee print is protected by applying an extra-strength UV resistant coating.

The use of Fine Art inks (specially formulated to resist fading and discoloration), archival paper or canvas, and the protective UV coating produces a piece of Fine Art for you to enjoy for years to come.
